Popular music composer Raam died due to cardiac arrest on Saturday.Raam Laxman had composed music for many superhit films like Maine Pyar Kiya,Hum Aapke Hain Koun etc.
Raam Laxman had composed music for around 200 Hindi, Marathi and Bhojpuri films.Entire music industry mourned his demise.

Raam Laxman was born Vijay Patil.His career began by composing music for Dada Kondke’s Marathi films.Later he began working on Kondke’s Hindi films also.Vijay began working with his partner Surendra (Raam) but Surendra breathed his last in 1976 and their partnership broke.After Surendra’s demise,Vijay had to take care of all the work alone and he continued to work as ‘Raam Laxman’
Significantly,Raam Laxman wasalways a first choice for Sooraj Barjatya for composing music and Salman’s Khan’s 1988 movie ‘Maine Pyar Kiya’ proved a big break for Raam Laxman.The movie and it’s songs were super duper hit.After that he composed chartbusters for Sooraj Barjatya’s many films which include ‘Hum Aapke Hain Koun'(1994) and ‘Hum Saath-Saath Hain'(1999)
