फ्रेंचाइजियों को भी विश्वास है कि BCCI विदेशी बोर्डों के साथ सकारात्मक चर्चा में शामिल होगा और शेष मैचों के लिए खिलाड़ी उपलब्ध होंगे। गौरतलब है कि अप्रैल-मई में कोरोना की दूसरी लहर के बीच भारत में IPL 2021 का आयोजन हो रहा था। मई की शुरुआत में कुछ खिलाड़ियों और सपोर्ट स्टाफ के संक्रमित पाए जाने के बाद इसे स्थगित करना पड़ा। अब तक 29 मैचों का आयोजन हो चुका है और 31 मैच बाकी हैं। जिन्हें यूएई में कराया जाएगा।
