What’s hot November: Special ops (Disney + hotstar)During the Covid-19 pandemic, Special Ops was one of the first Indian production shows to release. The show was launched on Disney + Hotstar in March of 2020. This 8 episode series stars Kay Kay Menon, Muzammil Ibrahim, Karan Tcker and Divya dutta among many other talented actors.
The show created by the national award winner filmmaker Neeraj pandey is set to return with a prequel to be named as Special Ops 1.5: The himmat story. This miniseries will show the story of how Himmat singh became the legend RAW officer that we absolutely loved in season 1.

In the first season of Special Ops the series begins with himmat singh being inquired for misappropriation of funds. It is during this investigation that the audience is informed about the 19 year long manhunt Himmat singh has been continuing for a terrorist named Ikhlaq Khan, who is shown in the series to be the fictional version of the terrorist behind 2001 parliament attack.
Through put the course of this show, the audience gets to know in depth about the lives of these agents and how they begin with this profession. Their life risqué missions take them to places like Pakistan, Istanbul, Dubai, Baku, Kashmir, Jordan etc while himmat singh stays back.
Aside from the national security issues he also has to deal with some domestic problems taking place. As the series goes on there is tons of action, falling bodies and even some romance.
Special Ops 1.5
In the prequel, which is set to be streamed on 12th November 2021, our main character Himmat Singh will be seen leading an international mission. The characters that will join Kay Kay menon in this season are Vijay Vikram Singh, Aftab Shivdasani, Aadil khan and many others.
The high in adrenaline action drama series is set to take place across Mumbai, Delhi, Mauritius and Ukrain and will open after that 2001 parliament attack. The audience will see the intelligence failure and suspension of the young Himmat singh and how he win back his place in the department.
Red notice
Netflix being a platform with several big budget releases, Red notice is the most expensive one by far. Featuring the star cast of Dwayne “The rock” Johnson, Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman), and Ryan Reynolds(Deadpool), this action thriller revolves around the story of a FBI agent and a conman trying to prevent a theft of some deeply valuable artifact.
After a long wait during the Covid period for the post production process to be completed, the film is finally set to be released on 12th November 2021. So go to your Netflix account and set a reminder so you don’t miss this master piece.
The filming of the movie commenced in January 2020 but was paused in the month of march. Even though the movie was half way through and the entire team was about to fly to Italy and 48 hours prior they were asked to pause the production and pull the plug.
Red notice plot
The film story revolves around an FBI agent who ends up being involved in a life threatening heist when he is provided with a warrant to catch 2 extremely notorious international criminals which leads to him forming some unexpected treaty.
