Rajasthan becomes the first state to conduct pre-primary classes in English medium in government schools.

Jaipur / Now pre-primary classes will be conducted in the state’s Mahatma Gandhi English Medium Schools. Issuing guidelines in this regard ।

Education director kanaram siravi(IAS) said that Education Minister Govind Singh Dotasara said that in compliance with the budget announcement of Hon’ble Chief Minister, pre-primary classes would be started from the ongoing session in Mahatma Gandhi English Medium Schools operating at 33 district headquarters in the first phase, and soon the program will be extended to block level.

The duration of the pre-primary education program will be three years, in which children of 3 years of age or above will be admitted, and a total of 25 students will be enrolled in each section. Teachers will be selected for the schools through walk-in-interview from among the current working level 1 teacher.

The education minister said that the syllabus specially prepared by RSCERT would be implemented in pre-primary sections, and classes would be conducted for 4 hours a day and five days a week. He said that the existing infrastructure of Mahatma Gandhi English Medium Schools would be utilized to conduct pre-primary classes, and if required, additional classrooms would be commissioned.

Education director kanaram sirvi (IAS) said that with this order’s implementation, Rajasthan had become the only state in the country to conduct pre-primary classes in English medium in government schools.
