CBSE proposes two options for Class 12th Board Exams, State can make their own decision

New Delhi: Due to the outbreaks of the 2nd wave of COVID-19, 12th Board exams have been postponed. Students are wondering if exams would be conducted or not.

Today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi conducted a meeting with high-profile Ministers on the issue of conducting 12th exams.

During this virtual digital press conference, Education Ministers from many states put forward their opinions regarding this matter. Notably, this meeting ended with an mutual agreement.

In this press conference, the Central Government has put forward two proposals for 12th and Entrance Exams, whereas CBSE has proposed two options for 12th exams. With this, CBSE has said that State Boards are allowed to make their own decisions.

Notably, Delhi Government has said in this meeting that it isn’t in the favor of conducting 12th Board Exams. Whereas, State Boards have been allow to make their own decisions in this meeting. But CBSE, NEET and JEE exams will be held.
