price and availability
The new Raider is offered in four color options, including Striking Red, and Blazing Blue, Wicked Black, and Fiery Yellow. The showroom price has been kept at Rs 77,500.
engine and power
Talking about the engine, the new Raider is powered by a 124.8 cc air- and oil-cooled, 3-valve engine that produces 8.37 kW of power and 11.2 Nm of torque. In just 5.9 seconds, this bike catches the speed of 0-60 km / h. The top speed of the bike is 99 km/h. The bike features a 5-speed gearbox. Better mileage and performance are also provided with the help of Ecotrust Fuel Injection (EFI) technology
Tires and Suspension
17-inch tires have been used in the new Raider. Apart from this, 5 steps adjustable suspension has been given in it. For braking, 240 mm disc brakes have been provided at the front and 130 mm rear drum brakes at the rear. The total weight is 123 kg which is good according to us.
Features
.The TVs Raider comes with a 5-inch TFT cluster, which is equipped with Bluetooth connectivity and voice assist. Apart from this, a split seat has been given to this bike which helps in giving it a sporty look. Its sharp headlight and sporty tail light look much better, with the help of which the bike gets an aggressive look. It gets sharp-looking side body panels, the Raider 3D logo, and TVS’s signature Prancing Horse 3D logo on the fuel tank extension.
Real competition from Honda SP 125
Honda’s SP125 is the most advanced bike in the 125cc bike segment and has the most features. Talking about the engine, the bike has a BS6, 124 ccs, 4-stroke SI engine, which is equipped with Fuel Injection (Fi) technology. This engine generates power of 10.72 bhp and torque of 10.9 Nm. This engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. Talking about the price, the drum version of SP125 has been priced at Rs 76,074 while its disc brake version of SP125 is priced at Rs 80,369. The bike weighs 117kg (drum brake) while the curb weight is 118kg with a disc brake. This bike has been given a fully digital speedometer, in which much information like average fuel efficiency and the gear position indicator is available.
