Family Background

Vicky Kaushal belongs to a middle-class Punjabi family in Mumbai. However, his family hails from Hoshiarpur, Punjab. But Vicky was born in Mumbai itself in the Chaul of Malad. And they grew up there. Vicky’s father, Sham Kaushal, came to Mumbai in 1978 and struggled and worked hard for many years, due to which he became a famous action director not only in Bollywood but also in Hollywood, who is now also a well-known stuntman. Vicky has loved to read, watch movies and play cricket since childhood. Vicky’s early education was completed at Sheth Chunilal Damodardas Barfiwala High School in Mumbai.
