NEET 2021 Exam: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin has written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on June 5, urging him to cancel the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test and all other national level entrance examinations keeping in mind the safety of the students. The reasons for the cancellation of class 12th board exams are “equally applicable” to the entrance exams. In a letter to PM Modi, Stalin said Tamil Nadu should be allowed to admit students to courses based on class 12th results.
In his letter, the Tamil Nadu CM said, “Given these circumstances, I am of the firm view that holding a national level entrance examination for any professional course would be extremely detrimental to the health and well-being of the students.” “In our state, all professional seats including seats can be allowed to be filled only based on class 12 marks,” Stalin said. Tamil Nadu government has canceled the class 12th board exam on Saturday. The government declared a committee would be formed to decide on awarding marks to the students.
The state government said that the decision to cancel the board exams was taken because of the continued high spread of the second wave of coronavirus in different states and the possibility of a third wave. In his letter to the Prime Minister, Stalin apprised him of the cancellation of its board examinations by the state and the setting up of a panel to set criteria for evaluating and awarding marks to students. Stalin, in his letter, said, “Admission to professional, arts and science courses in our state will be made based on these marks which will be awarded to the students.
States may conduct standard entrance exams to admit students to various professional programs, including engineering, the only route for students seeking Admission to undergraduate medical programs in India. Tamil Nadu is opposing the national-level medical entrance examination, saying that it harms the students of the state board. According to, the Ministry of Education will soon review the COVID-19 situation to decide on the conduct of and pending sessions. As per the latest update is scheduled for July, and registrations will start quickly.
तमिलनाडु के मुख्यमंत्री एमके स्टालिन ने 5 जून को प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी को पत्र लिखकर छात्रों की सुरक्षा को ध्यान में रखते हुए नेशनल एलिजिबिलिटी कम एंट्रेंस टेस्ट और अन्य सभी राष्ट्रीय स्तर की प्रवेश परीक्षाओं को रद्द करने का आग्रह किया है. कक्षा 12वीं की बोर्ड परीक्षा रद्द करने के कारण प्रवेश परीक्षाओं के लिए “समान रूप से लागू” हैं. स्टालिन ने पीएम मोदी को लिखे एक पत्र में कहा, तमिलनाडु को कक्षा 12वीं के रिजल्टों के आधार पर छात्रों को पाठ्यक्रमों में प्रवेश देने की अनुमति दी जानी चाहिए.
तमिलनाडु के सीएम ने अपने पत्र में कहा, “इन परिस्थितियों को देखते हुए मेरा दृढ़ विचार है कि किसी भी प्रोफेशनल पाठ्यक्रम के लिए राष्ट्रीय स्तर की प्रवेश परीक्षा आयोजित करना छात्रों के स्वास्थ्य और कल्याण के लिए बेहद हानिकारक होगा.” स्टालिन ने कहा, “हमारे राज्य में केवल 12वीं कक्षा के अंकों के आधार पर सीटों सहित सभी पेशेवर सीटों को भरने की अनुमति दी जा सकती है.” तमिलनाडु सरकार ने शनिवार को कक्षा 12वीं की बोर्ड परीक्षा रद्द कर दी है. सरकार ने कहा कि छात्रों को अंक देने पर फैसला करने के लिए एक समिति का गठन किया जाएगा.
